Ordering Information

For all Dealer and Designer accounts, a valid resale certificate will need to be submitted to us.

All orders and/or changes must be requested in writing, by phone or email. We will confirm acceptance by email, advising the anticipated ship date. 

 

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. Orders will be billed at the price in effect when the order is received. The MAP shall not be less than 10% below the current MSRP.

 

Payment Terms

  • Each order to be paid in full by credit/debit card at the time of purchase.
  • Net 30 terms may be established after prepaying first 2 orders by credit/debit card or check and by approval based upon our credit application.
  • Late payments will be subject to a 1.5% late fee, on a monthly basis (18% annually)
  • We reserve the right to hold orders until past-due invoices have been paid, per the Net 30 terms.

 

Shipping Policies

Orders will ship within 1-3 business days of being received. Backordered items will be shipped once stock becomes available.  All shipments are FOB Sebastopol, California and will generally ship by the least cost method unless the customer requests a specific carrier and transit time.

  • Purchaser assumes full risk for loss or damage in transit after our delivery to the carrier. All claims for damage must be filed directly with the carrier.

 

Order Policies

  • International Orders

Prepaid payment via US bank, cashier’s check or wire transfer. Customer is responsible to pay all customs, tariffs or any other additional fees not included in the invoiced amount.

  • Display Board P Orders

Large pulls from Display Board P are available by Special Order only. These are manufactured to order and are subject to a 4-8 week turn-around. Limited supply may be in stock.

  • Large Quantity Orders

All large quantity orders that are not part of our standard inventory will require a 25% deposit.

  • Special Orders

The standard finish is unlacquered Antique Brass. All items are available in other finishes on a Special Order basis. These finishes include, but are not limited to: Polished Brass, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Antique Copper, Verdigris, Copper, Antique Black, Polished Chrome, and Brushed Chrome, at a 40% upcharge to the MSRP list price. Due to the nature of our production, all Special Orders are non-refundable after order confirmation and are subject to a 4-8 week turn-around. Minimum order of 5 pieces, some exceptions for larger pieces. All Special Orders require a 50% deposit before production begins.

  • Custom Orders

We can produce custom brass hardware. We will not knowingly copy proprietary designs by others. We also welcome large quantity orders. Setup charges (mold fee) will be applied. Samples of custom items/finishes must be acknowledged by a client’s signature of approval before we produce. 

  • Rush Orders

Orders that are “Rush” will have additional charges attached to expedite delivery.

 

Returned Goods Policy

  • All requests for returns must be made by phone or email to Handcrafted Hardware within 30 days of the invoice date to obtain a RGA number. The customer must provide the following information: invoice number, purchase order number, item SKU, quantity, and reason for return.
  • Approved returns of undamaged items within 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee + return shipping.  We will not accept returns of undamaged items after 30 days from invoice date. Merchandise returned must be in re-saleable condition.
  • The restocking fee will be waived if the customer orders another item of equal or greater value at the time of return.
  • Credit will be issued once returned items are received.
  • An RGA is valid for 30 days from the date it was issued. Items returned after this period will not be accepted.
  • Due to the nature of our production, all Special and Custom Orders are non-refundable.

 

Specifications

Handcrafted Hardware products are cast in high quality, durable, solid brass. Since all products are cast and finished entirely by hand, there may be minor differences in surface patina. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify our products.

 

Finish Care

To properly clean your hardware, use a soft, damp cloth. Mild liquid dishwashing soap or Howard Feed and Wax can be used if needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface finish and damage its clarity.

                   

Limited One Year Warranty

  • We warrant our hardware against defects in workmanship, materials or operation, subject to normal wear and tear for One year. We do not warrant against defects due to improper installation, failure to properly maintain, or for uses that our products were not designed or intended.
  • This warranty applies only to interior use of our products.
  • We will repair or replace products we determine to be defective within one year of the original invoice date.
