Policies, Warranty & General Information

Ordering Information

All orders and/or changes must be requested in writing, by phone or email.  We will confirm acceptance by email, advising the anticipated ship date.



Prices are subject to change without notice.  Orders will be billed at the price list in effect when the order is received.


International Orders

Prepaid payment via US bank, cashier’s check or wire transfer. Customer is responsible to pay all customs, tariffs or any other additional fees not included in the invoiced amount.


Special and Large Quantity Orders

Large pulls from the O and P boards are available by special order only.  Additional shipping charges may apply if they are not in stock.

All large quantity orders that are not part of our standard inventory will require a 25% deposit.


Custom Orders and Rush Orders

We can produce custom brass hardware.  We will not knowingly copy proprietary designs by others.  Setup charges (mold fee) will be applied. Samples of custom items/finishes must be acknowledged by a client’s signature of approval before we produce.  Orders that are “Rush” will have a surcharge attached to expedite delivery.


Shipping Policies

Orders will ship within 1-2 business days of being received.  Gado Gado will ship back-ordered items once stock becomes available.  Ground freight will be prepaid on all orders over $500 list.  All other shipments are FOB Sebastopol, California.  Gado Gado will generally ship by the least cost method unless the customer requests a specific carrier and transit time.

  • Purchaser assumes full risk for loss or damage in transit after our delivery to the carrier.  All claims for damage must be filed directly with the carrier.


Returned Goods Policy

  • All requests for returns must be made by phone or email to Gado Gado within 30 days of the invoice date to obtain a RGA number.  The customer must provide the following information: invoice number, purchase order number, item SKU, quantity, and reason for return.
  • Approved returns of undamaged items within 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee + return shipping.  We will not accept returns of undamaged items after 30 days from invoice date.  Merchandise returned must be in re-saleable condition.
  • The restocking fee will be waived if the customer orders another item of equal or greater value at the time of return.
  • Credit will be issued once returned items are received.
  • An RGA is valid for 30 days from the date it was issued.  Items returned after this period will not be accepted.



Gado Gado products are cast in high quality, durable, solid brass.  Since all products are cast and finished entirely by hand, there may be minor differences in surface patina.  We reserve the right to discontinue or modify our products.


Special Finishes

The standard finish is unlacquered Antique Brass.  All items are available in other finishes on a Special Order basis.  These finishes include but are not limited to Brushed Nickel, Polished Brass, Antique Black, Polished Chrome, Antique Copper and Verdigris, for a 40% upcharge to the MSRP list price plus special shipping charges. Due to the nature of our production, all special finish orders are non-refundable after order confirmation. All special orders of over $500 require a 50% down payment before the order will be processed.


Finish Care

To properly clean your Gado Gado hardware, use a soft, damp cloth.  Mild liquid dishwashing soap can be used if needed.  Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface finish and damage its clarity.


Limited One Year Warranty

  • We warrant our hardware against defects in workmanship, materials or operation, subject to normal wear and tear for One year.  We do not warrant against defects due to improper installation, failure to properly maintain, or for uses that our products were not designed or intended.
  • This warranty applies only to interior use of our products.
  • We will repair or replace products we determine to be defective within one year of the original invoice date.
